I will not pretend I am now or ever was famous but I have been working as a musician for a number of years, usually in a semi-professional situation. The duo I play in has been very successful in recent years and this now accounts for a substantial amount of my income along with teaching guitar.

I have played guitar in a number of bands including a three-piece rock covers band and a five piece rock band playing original material. I have played guitar (and banjo, lap steel guitar and mandolin) in musicals produced by friends and local rep companies. I write my own music and have made a number of privately released albums. More importantly to anyone visiting this page I have played guitar for nearly 30 years and have been teaching for about 18 years. As well as teaching privately I teach in two local schools.
